The Village of Rivalta arose simultaneously with the medieval castle, so its origin can be dated at eleventh century. The complex consists of several buildings that surround the ancient church of San Martino (XI-XIV centuries), and more specifically, there are twenty houses inhabited in part by tourists, partly by residents.
